Massive protest by students in Calicut University

Marked by an uncompromising attitude of the authorities of Calicut University, more than 150 Post Graduate students have led a protest to the University campus. As against the proposed date of June 20, Calicut University has decided to conduct the fourth semester examination of PG students by the second week of June. However, students complain of lack of days been given for the completion of portions.

Students maintain that they haven’t received the required number of dates allotted by the University in a semester – 90. It was after the University not complying with the needs of students, in spite of repeated requests, that students decided to conduct protest before the VC.
