The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the CBSE Board examination of Class 12. As was announced by the board, this year, out of a total of 16 lakh students appeared for the examination, 83.4% students have managed to secure passing marks. Girls have outdone boys in the examination in terms of winning percentage, with the passing percentage of girls and boys being 88.7% and 79.4% this year.
In terms of regions, it was Thiruvananthapuram region, which topped the country, with a winning percentage of 98.2%. Second and third positions were secured by Chennai and Delhi regions. Two UP students, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora, topped this year’s Class 12 Board Examination, by securing 499 marks out of 500.
