Bogus Voting: Chief Electoral Officer confirms involvement of Muslim League workers

While commenting on the Kasargode bogus voting issue, the Chief Electoral Officer Teeka Ram Meena, has confirmed the involvement of Muslim League workers. Held on April 23, the Muslim League workers had reportedly casted bogus votes in Kaliassery. The Chief Election Officer has also confirmed the names of Muhammad Fayiz, Abdul Samad and KM Muhammad, being involved in bogus voting, while the CEO is yet to have a clarification on the involvement of yet another complaint Ashiq KM.

While addressing the press, Teeka Ram Meena has maintained that he had submitted the reports before the district collection, Assistant Returning Officer and Sectoral Officer.
